Presenting: The Member of the Month Feature

Hello, fellow R&C fans!  

Following the 6^th anniversary of RaC-Fans, we have been working intensively on a few innovations to celebrate and engage our community. With this journal, we now have the pleasure of officially announcing the first part of this process: Our new featurette series, Member of the Month!

In this journal you will find out what Member of the Month symbolizes, how to become one, and which criteria the selection will be dependent on.






Starting January 1^st, 2016, Member of the Month will be a new monthly feature where one member of the RaC-Fans group is selected by the administrative team. With this feature we aim to celebrate and feature the diversity and vibrant nature of our community by giving members, who have been recognized by members and the administrators alike as being wonderful parts to our communities.






There are two ways to become member of the month:

  1.) Group Nomination Procedure:

Fellow group members can nominate whoever they want by sending a note to the group with the member’s username and including a short paragraph on why this member should be chosen. Once a member has been nominated, they will be considered by the administrative team for the Member of the Month feature. The selected member will then be contacted by one of our administrators to inform him about his selection.

  2.) Staff Pick Nomination Procedure:

While nominations by popular vote take priority and will present the majority of featured members, the administrative team reserves the right to choose a group member as Member of the Month. This means that an artist may be invited for an interview and feature without having to fulfill the nomination criteria mentioned above. Staff picks are for exceptional cases only, and will follow the same selection criteria as elaborated on in the section What do we look for in a Member of the Month?.
